The following are the Terms and Conditions of Sale at Green Beanie Books (Ireland). These are here to protect you as a consumer, and us as the producer and supplier. You clicked on this page as part of the checkout process during your order. Please make yourself aware of these conditions and ensure you understand them before clicking on the 'I agree to the terms and conditions' check box.

 

PERSONALISED BOOK ORDERS
All information required for the purchase of any or all personalized editions of a book or books such as a child's first name and surname or children's first name and surname is provided by the customer at the time of the order. Green Beanie Books (Ireland) will not be responsible for misspelled names or any other information that has been supplied by you via the submission form(s) on this website or in the checkout phase of the purchase. Special character punctuations are allowed and we will include these where appropriate e.g. à á â ã ä ă. If you have a special character (letter) need for a name, and cannot provide it via the order form during purchase, please contact us here.

Personalised books cannot be accepted for return for refund.

 

ORDERING WITH PAYPAL AND CREDIT/DEBIT CARDS
Green Beanie Books (Ireland) strives to make the buying experience smooth and safe. Once your shopping cart order is confirmed, you will be taken to the PayPal checkout page on their secure server. You will never be asked for your credit or debit card, or bank account details on this site prior to being brought to the PayPal checkout page.

We may need to email you from our staff email address (info@greenbeaniebooks.ie) to verify payment or order information, and might require secure protocol verifications, such as address, first 4 and/or last 4 digits on your credit or debit card, and so on.

NO ONE FROM GREEN BEANIE BOOKS (IRELAND) WILL EVER CALL OR EMAIL TO OBTAIN YOUR CREDIT/DEBIT CARD OR BANK ACCOUNT INFORMATION. If this action is required by us, you will be contacted with the reason why beforehand.

 

DELIVERY OF ANY ITEM
All delivery prices shown are correct at the time of going live on this website. Delivery prices shown are based on packaging in the form of a padded envelope and pay-by-weight postage fees, as determined by Ireland's postal carrier, An Post.

Delivery prices may change without prior notice as An Post may change these at short notice. The additional cost is always passed on to the customer of Green Beanie Books (Ireland). If such a change, either by way of an increase or decrease occurs, we will strive to notify you prior to dispatch of your order. If there is a gross increase in postage fees, then it is for this reason that we may need to contact you to obtain extra carriage fees. If there is a gross reduction, we will notify you and facilitate a refund to your credit or debit card, or give the option of a discount e-voucher for use against a later purchase in the future.

Delivery times are not specific or guaranteed, but are provided as an estimation only. Post to Ireland and Northern Ireland takes 2 to 3 working days, Monday to Friday. Post to the rest of the world is 8 to 11 working days, Monday to Friday.

International orders are also subject to the conditions of the country of destination, and Green Beanie Books (Ireland) cannot be responsible for delays due to lost parcels, strikes, loss of service, or any other factor once the parcel has left our offices on its route worldwide.


DELIVERY CONDITIONS

We ensure that all orders are packaged in a manner that will ensure their survival in transit. However, as with all items in transit, damage may occur due to negligence of the carrier, delivery company, postal service, and so on. Green Beanie Books (Ireland) does not accept any responsibility for the actions of the intermediaries while the package is in transit, and even after it has reached its destination.

If an item has been received in an unfit state that one would expect nothing but the best condition from Green Beanie Books (Ireland), the purchaser should take all steps necessary to resolve the issue with the carrier, delivery company, postal service, etc.

 

STORING ORDERS & PAYMENT INFORMATION
Our invoicing and payment history system is hosted off site and in a secure location. All orders are historically archived. All payment details are stored securely (as is everyone else's) in our account on PayPal. Unless required to do so by law or under an investigation out of our control, none of this information will ever be shared. If a requirement by lawful summons to divulge this information is presented to us, and unless it is done so by court order, we may not be able to give prior notice that we have an obligation to release this information.
